About Ivy

My name is Ivy, and I am a handmade, homegrown, Pisces-Scorpio, Southern woman from Northern Florida. With ancestors who were peanut farmers, educators, and Baptist preachers, the Southern life and the traditions that go along with it, undoubtedly inspire my creative work.  I am a lover of live jazz + comfort food…and all things design make my heart patter.

.  This means that I value –

  • Integrity – I live honestly and conduct my business in a way that supports who I am authentically.
  • Sustainability – I ensure that all designs support the client and their well being, and the well being of the community at-large
  • Creativity – I value exploring and creating alternative designs that go beyond traditional points-of-view, but maintain a strong foundation in the client’s lifestyle and values

The last four years I’ve spent planning weddings, music concerts, graduation parties, and baby showers have been the best years of my life.

Every job hasn’t been a paid one, and not all projects have come out the way I envisioned. But the most important thing is that I’ve spent the last four years dreaming and creating from a real and authentic place.

For me, being a creative and designer is not only about technique, talent, and skill.

It’s about being true to the genius within. It’s about remaining vulnerable enough to welcome moments of incredible creativity.

This blog is a window into the things that make my soul smile, and inspire me to put my hands to authentic work.

I hope you enjoy your time here, and if you’re inclined, stop by and say hello via the comment section, TwitterTumblr, or Pinterest!

If you’re interested in learning more about my work and/or working with me, send in your information via the Services page and I will respond as quickly as possible!

Be well,
